Requested: Interview with a Christ

By Linda Joy Crutcher
What is your name and what is the purpose of this interview? My name is Light on All Levels. The purpose for this interview is to educate and help people understand the whys of being.
Are you like Jesus Christ? I am like Jesus the Christ, as we all are. I am not demonstrating that likeness, as I am still seeking to manifest the perfection that I am. The Christ level of consciousness is inherent to all men. Some are more aware of this connection than others.
How would you explain your human expression? My physical self is one dimension of the god that I am. I am focusing my awareness in the frequency of the third dimension, or physical plane, and experiencing myself as a physical being. You have heard it before; I am spirit playing at being human.
Why be human? Being human teaches us more of what God is. In this experience of physical awareness, we completely separate the consciousness from our Source, creating duality. The experience is one of integrating our consciousness of physical separateness with God and creating heaven on earth. Christ Jesus, the man, lived on earth in the consciousness or dimension of the Christ. He was the God Man. The Christ is a level of consciousness inherent to all of mankind. Even the Bible tells us, "Ye are Christs."
Do you know the purpose of this planet – I mean what are we doing here? This is a new and awesome experiment in the Cosmos. We are here to experience physical God. We are here to emotionalize, or feel, God’s energy. We get to have free will and be physical gods. We can create or destroy. We can empower God’s energy in any way we want. We get to choose. The greatest gift we have is bringing the vibrations from the mental, or thought realm of God into an emotional reality to experience the feeling of love. Love is the foundation for the planet. Jesus came to help us find our way to holiness, love and forgiveness. You see, what goes in MUST come out. It’s the law of circulation. We are receivers of light (energy), and the nature of God is motion. We seem to have a hard time letting go of everything from each other to stuff. The objective is to learn how to let go – keep a constant state of forgiveness – this is the Christ consciousness. Our mutual goal is to find God right here, right now, in everything we see. We must believe that we are Christs and can demonstrate that reality here on earth, just as Jesus did. To unconditionally love from every level of being is being a Christ.
Do you fear God? Yes, thank God. As God is infinite, I can never know all that I am in God. Fear of God is really fear of judgment. Fear of judgment keeps man focused in pursuing his path.
What would you like to say as a parting gift? Love. It is the key, simple but true. Love unconditionally. Find a way to see that behind every demonstration is a cause, a reason. Let go and let the god that you are deal with the resistance, the struggle. You can make this happen by checking every thought, every feeling and every action emanating from your space. Beware and aware of yourselves. You create your heaven and your hell. Love who you are, you are so beautiful. (author's website listenwithlinda.com)

Never A Christ, Never A god!

Dear Light on All Levels,
Let me quote your “Interview With A Christ” (April 2008): “Let go and let the god that you are deal with the resistance, the struggle.” Below are my remarks about your New Age Jesus and historical Christianity.

NEW AGE JESUS (Counterfeit Jesus)

The New Age Jesus perceived of himself as a human being—a mere mortal—who, through one means or another (enlightenment, atonement, initiation, shedding bad karma, etc.), eventually attained Christhood. He is not substantially different from you and me. As Jesus attained Christhood, so all humanity may attain Christhood, we are told.

THE REAL JESUS (Historical Christianity)

The New Testament Jesus, by contrast, clearly perceived of himself as being uniquely God among men. He often asserted his uniqueness in statements such as “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty” (John 6:35); “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5); “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved” (John 10:9); “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30); “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies” (John 11:25); “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). These are not the words of a mere mortal.
It is absolutely critical that we understand precisely who Christ claimed to be, for our eternal destiny depends on it. Jesus himself declared: “If you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins” (John 8:24). Of course, before one can believe in Christ, one must first be utterly clear about who Christ is. There is no room for confusion on Christ's identity. To err here is to err fatally. Faith in a counterfeit Christ will yield a counterfeit salvation. Only a faith in the true Christ of Scripture will yield the fruit of eternal life.

MAN AND THE IMAGE OF GOD (Historical Christianity)

Man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), but this does not mean that God placed his essence within man. This verse can never be construed to teach that man is divine or can become a god. Genesis 1:26-27 teaches that man was created in God’s image in the sense that he is a reflection (and representative) of God in his dominion over creation (Genesis 1:27-28); in his rational nature (Colossians 3:10); and in his moral nature (Ephesians 4:24). In the same way that the moon reflects the brilliant light of the sun, so man (as created in God’s image) is a reflection of God in these aspects. But again, this has nothing to do with human beings becoming god. (Cults believe we can become a god).
This perverted desire for godhood has a long history in the universe. If it is correct that Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:12-19 refer to the fall of Lucifer (and there is good reason to believe this), then it seems that this was the beginning of the desire for godhood in the universe. Lucifer (Satan and/or devil) was originally created as the most magnificent of angels. But then an unholy desire entered his heart. Lucifer's sinful yearning is summed up in the statement, “I will make myself like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14). Lucifer wanted to take God's place. But the only true God cast the self-inflated Lucifer from his holy presence.
In the Garden of Eden, this fallen angel sought to tempt Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. He enticed her by saying, “God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5). The fall of man was the result of this encounter. But man to the present day continues yearning to be “like God.”
This leads us to make an observation about the nature of man. If it were true (hypothetically) that all people possess a part of the divine essence and that they are all manifestations of God, then one would expect them to display qualities similar to those known to be true of God. This seems only logical. However, when one compares the attributes of humankind with those of God (as set forth in Scripture), we find more than ample testimony for the truth of Paul’s statement in Romans 3:23 that human beings “fall short of the glory of God.” Consider the following: God is all-knowing (Isaiah 40:13-14), but man is limited in knowledge (Job 38:4); God is all-powerful (Revelation 19:6), but man is weak (Hebrews 4:15); God is everywhere-present (Psalms 139:7-12), but man is confined to a single space at a time (John 1:50); God is holy (1 John 1:5), but even man’s “righteous” deeds are as filthy garments before God (Isaiah 64:6); God is eternal (Psalms 90:2), but man was created at a point in time (Genesis 1:1, 2627); God is truth (John 14:6), but man's heart is deceitful above all else (Jeremiah 17:9); God is characterized by justice (Acts 17:31), but man is lawless (1 John 3:4; see also Romans 3:23); God is love (Ephesians 2:4-5), but man is plagued with numerous vices like jealousy and strife (1 Corinthians 3:3). If man is a god, one could never tell it by his attributes.
Bottom line: We as humans hold none of the divine attributes of Christ.

THE CHRISTIAN WALK (Historical Christianity)

Before salvation, we were enslaved to sin, but at salvation the dominant power of sin in our lives is broken. Beginning at salvation, God begins to progressively work within believers to make us more and more free from sin. The Christian life is a process of cooperating with God's sanctifying work in our lives by our obedience to Christ and deepening our relationship with Him. It is God's will that we continually grow over the course of our lives until we get to heaven and then are made perfect in Christ. (1 Cor. 6:11; Rom. 6:1-8, 39; 1 Thess. 5:23; Phil 1:6, 2:13).

Blessings to you dr. j,

If we may never be a Christ, never a god, then the whole demonstration of Jesus is a lie. Jesus told us that the kingdom is within us, he said that one day we would do greater works than He; He said, seek ye first the kingdom and all things shall be added unto thee: ALL THINGS; No one comes to the Father except through me. When we find and accept Christ within, we find the Father through that Christ. . . our Father. . . God. It is not logical to think that if we are created out of God, we are not, at least, an aspect of god. That would be like saying my human parents gave me life, but I am not human. Fundamentalism repels many who cannot hear or accept the Word as it is written in the Bible. Having accepted Jesus the Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was four years old, I have been guided by Him my entire life. He has given through me, another way for people to be able to come to Him and find that they are indeed one with Him and through Him, one with God. We are Christs, not yet manifested, because we fear the great responsibility that claim brings to the self and the overwhelming cross we bear living up to that standard. As long as we believe we are incapable of manifesting what Jesus showed us we one day would, we will continue to blame others, outer conditions, and even God for what we, ourselves, create. "Let go and let the love that you are deal with the resistance, the struggle." God is love and love is God. If I am love, then I am also, at least, a little piece of that which created me. God bless you for your faith and conviction and for the love that the Christ that you are, showers through you.
